FEELING PRESSURES TO SELL YOUR HOME?

You are not alone

There is a group of Dogtown residents who want to stand with any property owner who is feeling fear at being pressured or forced to sell their property. Contact us and we’ll try to help you in your time of need.

We are not opposed to development, and even welcome it. Much of the current building in the greater Dogtown area has been good for the neighborhood. When property owners WANT to sell their property we salute them and wish them well.

However, if you DO NOT WISH TO SELL, but are feeling fear that you will be pressured or even forced to, then we wish to stand with you.

Don’t worry if you can’t point to exactly what your fear is. Just FEELING it is enough, even too much. You should not have to fear losing your property if you do not wish to sell. Contact us and we will meet with you, discuss your situation and as best we can advise you and stand with you.

We cannot guarantee success, but at least you won’t be in this situation alone.

Our group of volunteers is studying the options, trying to learn about such legal tools as blighting and eminent domain, and watching for more subtle tactics of pressure. If you contact us we will meet with you, share our growing body of information, and, when action is required, we will try to stand with you.

There is a web page where we are posting some links to relevant information, and sharing some of our own discussion and growth in awareness. See:
