- Change in By-laws
In order to correct, simplify and clarify the above notice The Nominating Committee believes that the bylaws should be am mended to state that all officers are to be elected to a two year term of office. Bob Corbett made a motion beginning in March
2005 the vice president and treasurer shall be elected for a two year term of office
Kelli Vincent seconded the motion . Motion carried.
The term of office for the four DHS officers president, vice president, secretary and treasurer shall for two years. The president and secretary will be elected in even years 2006 -- the vice president and treasurer will be elected in odd years, 2007.
- Board of Directors
The Nominating Committee believes it is necessary to expand the board of directors in order to generate greater participation and to entertain more variety and experience in the organization.
The board of directors be increased by four directors from its current 11 positions to 15 positions. That the four officers will be voting members by virtue of their office and their term on the board will coincide with their term in office
