SEPTEMBER 15, 2012

This Third Annual Dogtown Street Musician's Festival was held at the intersection of Tamm and Clayton Avenues in Dogtown

OUR 2012 FESTIVAL IS DEDICATED TO: CHARLOTTE PETERS

Charlotte Peters Daughter

This year we dedicate the 3rd Annual Dogtown Street Musicians Festival to the memory of Charlotte Peters who passed away on December 27th, 1988. She was known affectionately as the "First Lady of St. Louis".

The Dedication Plaque reads: "The Third Annual Dogtown Street Musicians Festival, held on September 15, 2012, is dedicated to the memory of Charlotte Peters, the “First Lady of St. Louis” who hosted her local weekday variety TV show for 23 years and volunteered her time for our parish plays and productions. We are proud to honor this great Dogtown Entertainer."

Left: Charlotte Peter's daughter Patricia Schwarz accepting the plaque from DHS President, John Corbett, in her mothers name. Charlotte's son Mike Peters (creator of "Mother Goose and Grimm") was also invited to the dedication, but at the last minute was unable to attend.
