He was in Explorer Post 166 at Dewey with me for several years. He earned the rank of Eagle Scout and was highly respected by all. He was to all of us the epitome of the All-American boy. I have an 16mm color movie with him in it of when a group of us guys in high school went on a camping trip to Meramec State Park around the summer of 1963 or '64. He's pictured in it playing the guitar and in another scene driving us back to Dogtown in his convertible. A memorable film ...
