1880 FEDERAL CENSUS OF CHELTENHAM/DOGTOWN: HOW TO USE AND WHAT'S THERE

The U.S. Federal Census for the year 1880 was taken twice. It was taken in June and again in November. The data collected here is from the second enumeration which was taken on the 13th day of November, 1880. The enumerator was C. M. Morris. The Enumeration District was # 436, the Electoral Precinct was #236, the 27th Ward.
Microfilm copies of this census are available to researchers without charge at three locations: The Missouri Historical Society on Skinker Blvd., The St. Louis City Library, main branch, on Olive Blvd., and the Main Branch of the St. Louis County Library on S. Lindbergh Rd. The roll number at the County Library is #736.
