Red Corbett as child on Scott Ave.

This photo is one of my favorite family story's.

The Corbetts always had a New Year's Eve party at the 6410 Wade Ave. home. (Home of John and Kate Corbett, GENERATION 3).

It was a costume party and Red came as "The New Year" in baby clothes. Uncle Bill Corbett, his brother, came as "Old Man Time" (next to him in the photo). Lots of beer went down, and as midnight approached Bill realized that the "New Year" would replace him. He had his prop, a sythe. He decided kill the new baby (Red) to save himself, and a madcap race around the house and yard went on with Red running for his life and Bill trying to catch him with his sythe. Thank goodness Bill was too drunk to carry out his wishes, and the entire gang of party goers were trying to catch him to stop his murderous desires.
