Hello after a long absence!  I'm glad to be back.

I have a question concerning Methodists in Haiti.  I have read personal
letters from
Catholic missionaries (namely Tisserant and Libermann) from the 1840's
complaining
about the "heretic Methodist missionaries from England" who had the support
of the
local gov't of PauP AND their support for a large school run by the
Methodists.
I have had problems finding parallel information on the Protestant
missionaries in Haiti
at that time.  Does anyone know of any books, or archives that can be
consulted.
