Sorry for the delay in my reply.  I was in Denmark for a few days.  Well, here
is a list of past, recent and articles in progress on this very topic and
related subtopics. Also take a look at www.lti.cs.cmu.edu/Research/Diplomat/
I am aware of 1 or 2 other Haitian Creole machine translation systems (created
by companies specialized in language engineering) that were initiated many
years ago but never led anywhere.  The problem is lack of funding.  No
commercial products are available.
