#1848:_#1821:__"chime" Bell replies

From: madison bell <mbell@goucher.edu>

The word is derived from the Good Old Greek Mythological Monster Chimera,
which appeared and disappeared whimsically, but sometimes with fatal
results. Larousse Encyclopedia calls her "the personification of a storm
cloud" The kreyol means unfaithful/unreliable, as does the English
"chimerical" I've seen the Kreyol word used in the context of marital
relationships. Haven't seen the current use in political context but, you
know, the application is not unimaginable.
