#2069: Medical mission in the batey (fwd)

Batey Relief Alliance (BRA) is sponsoring a medical relief mission from June
9th through June 18th, 2000 in the batey Payabo of Monte Plata, Dominican
Republic.  The purpose is to bring desperately needed medical care to the
impoverished Haitian-Dominican population in the areas of general medicines,
pediatrics, dental and optometry. BRA will also donate medicines, vitamins,
eyeglasses and condoms to patients to complete their short-term treatment.
Volunteer internists, pediatricians, optometrist, dentists and nurses are
