I thought some of the DC metro area listers might be interested to 
know that one of our list members will be featured at the Embassy of 
Haiti early next month.

Carrol Coates of SUNY-Binghamton will discuss the noted Haitian 
author, Jacques Stephen Alexis in the context of his translation of 
the well known work: "Compère Général Soleil"
