 Your whole basis then is the Haitian Embassy's guestimate
of the population  in 1995, with the problems involved in this
2000 Census in the US I still | think it is all guessing. ;)

I beg to disagree.

We have had a number of population counts throughout

Haitian history.

As a result, we have a relatively good fix on the size of

the population, the age and gender distribution, and  the

demographic growth rate.
