Ex-Haitian president calls for peace

Port-au-Prince, CANA - Former Haitian president
Jean-Bertrand Aristide yesterday called for peaceful
elections hours after a grenade explosion in front of
the election council headquarters injured several people.
"We must all make peace so that we can all live in peace,"
Aristide said just days before Sunday's legislative and
municipal elections. Police said unidentified individuals
set off a grenade in front of the Provisional Electoral
Council late Wednesday and five people were hurt.
