I am a physicist by education. I am interested to have some bibliography
on Haiti relating to science. What does that mean? There has been a lot
of research on Haiti in regard to politics, history, ethnology but I am
wondering if there is anything on the field of science when it comes to
Haiti.

My intention is to do some comparison on the field of science between
Haiti and the third world countries specifically in Caraibean basin...
For example, when there was the solar eclypse in 1996, instead of
people enjoying the event we had four people dead. So, since then I
felt that some research needed to be done on Haiti regarding to science.
