6495: KOSANBA COLLOQUIUM (fwd)

The Congress of Santa Barbara (KOSANBA) announces its 4th
colloquium to be held between October 11th and 13th, 2001 at
St. Michael's College in Burlington, Vermont. KOSANBA is
a scholarly association for the study of Haitian Vodun.
The theme is, "Limen Limye/Limen Chimen: Worldview
and Religious Paradigms in Nation-Building. The colloquium
is held this time under the aegis of the Lwa Legba Atigbon
and Ayizan Avlekete. Everyone can attend after paying the
registration fee. The colloquium is being held together
with the 13th annual conference of the Haitian Studies
Association (HSA) which will have a different registration fee.
Attendees would "kill" two birds with one stone, as it were.
