6607: Bacterial infection

  A few weeks ago one subscriber to the mailing list sent an e- mail 
regarding a bacterial infection contracted while on vacation in the 
Caribbean. He noted that physicians in the North were unable to 
diagnose the problem unless they were familiar with the symptoms. A 
friend of mine is going through the same ordeal and I would greatly 
appreciate it if anyone on the list would repost that e-mail or 
forward it to me directly.
