... hmmm.  and Jesus was in the desert how long?  Interesting.  Also 
interesting to me to imagine my own Haitian husband, or any healthy, in-love 
person I know, abstaining from sexual intercourse for 41 days. I wonder if 
anybody *really* sticks to that...
