this site also gives indication of the importance of land reform, and a list
of those organizations within Haiti who support such change and why it is
needed.

this site, in particular, gives some insight into why basic reform is
needed.  i doubt anyone who looks at it will conclude that my interest comes
from some silly "anti-Aristide" attitude........
