I just finished listening to Naïssa, an opera by Haitian

composer Werner Jaegerhuber (1900-1953). The CD

is produced by the Société de Recherche et de Diffusion

de la Musique Haïtienne (SRDMH) based in Montreal, Canada.

It is an abbreviated version of the complete opera.

The CD also contains six pieces sung by Nicole Saint-Victor

accompanied on the piano by Micheline Dalencour.

All in all, enchanting music!
