Each newsletter contains two brief features on Fonkoze's work in Haiti. If

As many of you know, Fonkoze is Haiti's Alternative Bank for the Organized
Poor, with 17 branches throughout every region of Haiti. Fonkoze seeks to
build the economic foundations for democracy in Haiti.

Fonkoze has over 15000 savings accounts, over 5000 active borrowers, a
literacy and business skills training program, a business development
program and an international deposit service.
