9643: RE: 9622: Bookstores for Caribbean literature (fwd)
From: Karen Davis <kdavis@marygrove.edu>
Your best bet is any of the many indies that specialize in African American
books. At least here in Detroit, after the first year or so, they "discover"
Caribbean & African lit. & then stock it quite well.

Subject: 9622: Bookstores that sell Haitian literature (fwd)
From: William Murray <wamurray@familink.com>
Hello everyone:
Does anyone know of any independent bookstores that sell a
substantial
amount of Haitian and West Indian literature in English? I am
familiar with
Haitiana Publications in Brooklyn and Libreri Mapou in Miami but
wasn't sure
if there were any others.
Thanks for your help,
-Bill Murray
