As I know it,
Harry Belefonte's wife (apologize for not remembering her name) was a dancer 
at one time with Katherine Dunham.
There is also always a "discussion" re Mr. Belefonte's hit song:  
"Yellowbird", which supposedly originates from Jamaica.  As any Haitian can 
tell you the song is "Ti Oiseau".   
In any case, there is no rendition of the song quite like Harry Belefonte's.
