Very astutely, Pierre Jean writes the following:

"Raymond Joseph has the audacity to team up with Dejean
Belizaire to defend democracy in Haiti? With DEJEAN BELIZAIRE? This is a
joke,
right? Why bring such a liability on board? Dumb, dumb, dumb!"

The real question is who's a liability to whom? Raymond Joseph hardly
qualifies, by any standard, as a defender of democracy. In fact, aside
from a
couple of very surprising exceptions, the list of signers is a veritable
Who's
Who of Haitian Reactionaries.
