He wasn't the only one offended by that needlessly nasty remark. If a few
journalists are frustrated and angry, then they can join the club. Most
Haitians (and some of us others) are frustrated and angry with the way news
(and the truth) is manipulated to either make a better story (try and tell me
it's not the norm!) or to satisfy a particular agenda........you know most
reporting is not reporting but editorial comment. Ever since those guys,
Woodward and Bernstein went all investigational and got the Pulitzer Prize
for journalism, the rest of the clan wants one too. Objective reporting
(who, what, when, where, why) is a fading memory. If you don't like that
analysis, at least I'm not trying to destroy your president and your country.
The people of Haiti would like the same courtesy extended to them.

Mr. Wharram made some valid points and he didn't even make a value judgment,
he only put the inconsistencies up for others to judge. As long as coup
attempts are being made and people are plotting the overthrow of the elected
government, the people will mistrust those with the power of the media who
seem to be supporting those treasonous activities. It seems so obvious. that
I'm sure you've thought of it yourself.
