65 Haitian migrants sent home after being found in sailboat

MIAMI -- The Coast Guard returned 65 Haitian migrants Tuesday to
Port-au-Prince.

The migrants were found Saturday on an overloaded, 40-foot sailboat 15 miles
northwest of Haiti.

A Coast Guard helicopter spotted the boat and sent a cutter to rescue the
migrants.

The group is the first Haitians to be found by the Coast Guard this year.
The Coast Guard said 919 Haitian migrants have been interdicted since
October.
