I am working on a research paper about the economics of Haiti
post-slavery, how Haiti's economic development was impacted by the
revolution, the ensuing isolation by the international community, land
reform, farming, U.S. policy towards Haiti  etc. I have done quite a bit
of research but have not been able to get much useful information that
specifically discusses these points.  If at all possible please provide
some references or names of people that have written articles or books on
Haiti's economic development since 1804.  I thank you very much for any
information that you can provide.
