a1925: RE: 1826: New York courses in Creole at Brooklyn College
From: Regine Latortue <Regine@brooklyn.cuny.edu>
Creole courses are now offered each semester at Brooklyn College from the
Department of Modern Languages and Literatures. In Fall 2001, Creole 3.8
(Basic Writing/Reading skills) was taught, and during the current Spring
2002 semester, Creole 4.8 (Intermediate) is being taught. The courses,
which I introduced to the curriculum in the early 80's, have been
reintegrated into the current Brooklyn College Bulletin (2000-2003) and are
considered to be "active." The current instructor is Mr. Jude Piquant.
