Will the real demagogue please stand up!! In the midst of a serious search
for a resolution to the OAS's "poitical crisis" in Haiti, the OPL makes it
clear once again they have no interest in recognizing the legitimacy of the
constitutional government. Why should they? The only power they have is
obstructionism and once they have been abandoned by their benefactors in
Washington, if that day should ever come, they will likely be remembered as
little more than opportunists who brought increased misery and suffering to
the Haitian people.

It time for those who love the Haitian people to call loudly for Washington
to end their support of this cynical and self-serving exercise. Let Haiti
Live!!!





16. Special Guest of the Day: Gerard Pierre-Charles on Aristide's
attitude towards the violence that is taking place in the shantytowns of
Port-au-Prince and some provinces. Pierre-Charles said that it is
obvious that the people have started to revolt against Aristide, who they
thought was their source of salvation. Regarding Aristide's proposal for the
resolution of the crisis before 18 May, Pierre-Charles called it demagogy.
