Folks we have to be truthful among ourselves and stop
living a fake life. How many of you had read the new
terrorist Bill? Please get a copy and those of you who
have been living here legally for over 5 years and
plan to be here for some time, you should naturalize;
otherwise you might regret for rest of your life. The
new bills say any non-US citizen can be detained
indefinitely. The judge cannot override a national
security matter. You can take this case to the world
court but you have to understand that a country has
the rights to control its border.
I hope the Haitians in Miami have a good leader who
understands US policy and knows the proper channel to
use. It is not the time to react emotionally, also, it
is not the time to do what we used to in Haiti: voye
monte, li pap pase: it is not going to fly. Miami has
score of educated Haitians some of them are born here
and some have been living in the US for over 25 years.
It is time to move forward and do not allow the
vagabondage that had been done in NY where the
Haitians had focused on the former Mayor who is now an
American Prince or le chouchou de la nation; nobody
can there mess with him , so your struggle lost steam
since he was focus to destroy one person.
Contact the American Civil Liberty Union, ask them
first to see how they can get a federal judge de
mettre en veuilleuse (suspend) a part of that Bill
that requires to keep non US citizen indefintely in
Jail, if a judge agree to suspend it, once he/she
decided, ask a federal judge to force INS to release
the detainee without condition.
in the meantime, locate some federal judges who are
sensitive to the Haitian cause he/she might make a
quick decision before this current administration
appeals the judge ruling.

I understand your anger, double standard have been
used against our brothers and sisters. We would like
to receive also some special favor but it is not
happening right now. May be down the road this current
administration or the next one may feel compassion for
us. May be the next US president may hear about our
contributions in this country in which our ancestors
had fought side by side, died side by side for the
freedom of this country.

It is not the time to call people racist, please
refrain from using those derogatory words, attack the
problem like professional with full knowledge nobody
will go anywhere. There is a rift in Miami between
the Haitian and Cuban, which is ridiculous, please do
not create more. The country is in a war mode, the
American people back up their leaders 100% they are
unified.

Senou
