	If you edit out the vivid images of Romanesque villas overlooking
shantytowns while hospitals wash away in mudslides, the bottom line
statement in the May 18 article by Haiti en Marche is that: "the system" is
designed to maintain dependency.  It's easy to point a finger, everyone
might be guilty of something, but for the kid who is going hungry today and
the father who cannot work to feed his child, the hungriest would prefer
that YOU help make a difference if you can.
