What
are the $ figures/resources allocated? What is the "security"? What are
the "assurances", and how do you know they were received? IF the judge has
not responded, WHY do you think (since you cannot absolutely know) he has
not responded? What query, exactly, did 30 September make?

I do not dispute your right to ask for reliable sources of information before
you make a judgement on an issue. It is very wise to do so. However, please
tell me if you are so diligent when you read judgements of Aristide and the
Lavalas party. It seems to me that many people who otherwise are very
careful about the reliability of sources of information are extremely quick
to pick up and take as truth, any negative writings or out and out rumors
when it comes to Aristide. The epithet, "dictator" is pinned to him
regardless of the actual truth of the situation. He is said to be involved
with drug trafficking regardless of evidence or lack of evidence. He is said
to pocket money for his own enjoyment that belongs to the people of
Haiti....regardless of evidence. Shall we all be held to the same standard
of proof, while we are at it? I think that is also wise. No one likes to be
made a fool.
