Spring Valley, New York.- To celebrate the reopening
of Haitian American Cultural
and Social Organization (HACSO) as well as raising
funds to enable this 27 year-old
institution to continue providing services crucial to
the Haitian community of Rockland County (Lower Hudson
Valley), "The Friends of HACSO" are staging a benefit
concert featuring some of the best Haitian performers
on the scene today.

On Saturday June 22, 2002, join Emeline Michel, Jean
Claude Eugène, Poet Denizé
Lauture, guitarist Marc Mathelier, Explosif  2000 and
special guest, the renowned
jazz singer Stella Mars at Ramapo High School, Viola
Road, Spring Valley, New York to warmly welcome HACSO
back in the community.

HACSO, a non-profit organization, is the oldest
community based Haitian institution in Rockland where
reside more than 30,000 Haitians and Haitian-Americans
