The leaders of the regional branch of the Convergence reported persecution
against their followers by supporters of the current regime. They also
spoke
against Paul Arista, a CASEC member from the locality of Guilbaud, located
in
the Commune of Torbeck. Paul Arista, accompanied by men armed with knives,
batons, and stabbing weapons, allegedly entered a facility where farmers
supporting the opposition were meeting to discuss their problems. Police
allegedly arrested several of these individuals.
