"Pawòl Granmoun" (Words of the Elders) is the first in a series
of documentaries about traditional culture being produced by
Crowing Rooster Arts. It aims to capture the lives,
memories, and traditions of Haiti's older generations during a
time when the country's youth increasingly embraces foreign
values and culture.

The evening will include a round-table discussion between the
audience and members of the "Haitian Collective at WBAI," who are
producing on-going specials on Haiti at that Pacifica Network
station in New York City:
