La Troupe Makandal presents Bwa Kayiman.  Celebrate the historic
gathering that launched Haiti's Revolution in 1791.  Dancing, drumming,
and song under the direction of Master Drummer Frisner Augustin (NEA
Heritage Fellow 1999).  Admission FREE.  Date and place: Sunday, 18
August, 4 pm, Prospect Park Gran Bwa  Take the Q local train to Parkside
Avenue (Parkside exit); or the 12 or 16 bus to Ocean and Parkside.  Enter
Park and walk about 150 yards straight to lakeside.
