let me get this straight.  members of FRAPH (a group that no longer
exists)
kidnapped amiot metayer from prison, detained him, then released him in
his old
neighborhood?  to what end?  also, if all this is true (and i find that
highly
unlikely), why were supporters of metayer out in the streets asking for
aristide's departure, or were those people members of FRAPH also?

interesting to note that this person spoke of the importance of firsthand
information yet is sitting in jeremie (south of haiti) and is relaying
information on events that occured in the north.  also, apparently this
person
has privileged information, cause there has been absolutely no mention of
FRAPH
(whether from government or nongovernment sources) in this affair
