Dear Stanley:

The above quote from Fauriol (where is it he gets his funding? Oh, yes, the
U.S. Govt!), along with your #2 entry, is exactly what I was "getting at"
when I stated in my Post #12833:

"...don't forget that the U.S. Government "funded" his "exile" (ad
infinitum???)"

U.S. Foreign Policy for decades has been based upon what's called a "dual
track". To hedge against any possible "wild card" scenarios, the U.S.
Goverment is famous for funding both sides of any dispute, both sides of any
context.

It uses the sides in the midst of any dispute to gain its own ends; it wipes
out any participants it chooses along the way; and it declares itself winner,
no matter which locally-based side ultimately is allowed to win (at its
discretion).


I have no question but the the U.S. Government has been funding Lavalas and
Convergence and everything else in between which it has deemed could serve as
potential tools toward achieving its own policy ends.

The only folks "out of the financial aggrandizement loop" are those who very
obviously have demonstrated from the beginning that they will be nobody's
tools!

Folks like me who just happened to have created software tools back in 1991
which could really have helped the Haitian Nation, but didn't serve the
foreign policy interests of the puppetmasters and their stooges.

After all, who really wants a nation with a higher literacy rate, so that
ordinary folks can understand their rights as citizens?

So much for the need to unscramble orthographical inconsistency in published
materials in Haitian Creole! So much for the need for scanning in Haitian
Creole and immediately having word-processable text to then instantaneously
orthographically update and get into the hands of The People!

Who wants practical answers to practical problems?

When so many can benefit so much from so much confusion???
