As per usual, the purveyors of gossip, lies and half-truths are running full
steam. Not only did the Haitian government emphatically deny that Aristide
had purchased a home in Taiwan but this was followed by the Taiwanese
Embassy releasing a statement discounting K-Plim's fantasy.

News outlets that only refer to sources as "information circulating around
the capital" would appear to lack as much substance as those who would
believe such nonsense.
