Barbara Lee (Democrat Oakland) was the sole member of Congress who voted
against the war on terrorism. This is quite a stir and she was blasted by
almost everyone in the US.

Now the Haitian government believed that House Resolution 382, submitted by
Lee, would get the US to release Haitian aid.
The Haitian government might as well hired Al Sharpton to Lobby Congress on
its behalf. It appears they have a long way to go in learning how politics
works in the US.
