Dear Jean-Claude,
Putting myself in the Prime Minister shoe, I would not feel compel to
ease the case that much for any accuser. I would not show my greencard. I
would let it to the accuser to find himself a willing american official
to confirm his or her claim. Inasmuchas no pressure whatsoever would be
on me.
You are right when you say that status of friend does not add any value
to the argument. So does that of supporter of the accuser. What would add
to the value of the argument is its relevance. And I think showing that
the passport's # does not match the ones that have been given to the
citizen where the Prime Minister used to live is a strong one that can
punch hole to the claim. Therefore it is the accuser turn to come up with
a counter argument.
Democratically yours,
