Mr.Chamberlain, first of all, I would like to thank you for giving me an
opportunity to answer. If I was in Haiti,today I would have been arrested
and killed by Aristide's henchmen, long time ago for telling the truth .So,
I must say that I am lucky to be alive and share with anyone who wants to
listen what I know about the  tyrant and dictator of Haiti: Jean Bertrand
Arisitide.

Before giving you my sources for the list of drugs, I would like to tell you
who I am and what I am doing and especially to be clear with all the
Corbetters who think that I am making some kind of propaganda .
I am a  haitian businessman or an entrepreneur if you prefer, coming from a
prominent haitian  business family which has never been involved into
haitian politics before. My uncle, Joseph Nadal who founded our company" Les
Entreprises Commerciales Joseph Nadal", seventy five years ago.He  was
president of Haiti Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 1958. In 1959,
Dr.Francois Duvalier then president of Haiti, proposed him to be his
Minister of Commerce. Joseph Nadal refused and was threatened by Duvalier's
henchmen.He had to leave in exile with his wife and children.

Thirty nine years later, in 1998 , I was elected president of Haiti Chamber
of Commerce and Industry for a two-year term. In the course of 1999, the
Lavalas party in power with Jean Bertrand Aristide and Rene Preval used
terrorism and harassment against the haitian private sector at large,small
entrepreneurs as well as larger ones, were victims of the Lavalas
violence,like they are still victims today(Lavalas riots).You can go to any
website about  Haiti and find out that what I am telling you is true.I have
been also very much interested in economic development since 1977, the year
that I came back in Haiti to work in the family business.Unfortunately there
are many obstacles to the economic development of Haiti .The incompetence
and mediocrity of our corrupted political class are by far the most
important obstacles to the implementation of the principles of Good
Governance in Haiti and economic development .When I say  Good Governance, I
mean the respect of the Rule of  Law,Transparency, Accountability and
Efficiency.Today in Haiti,we have none of them.Haiti has been taken into
hostage by the Lavalas immorality and irresponsability.

In the beginning of 2000, Jean Bertrand Aristide sent to my office at the
Chamber of Commerce , Mr. Ralph Chevry and Mrs. Fedora Camille Chevry to
convince me to go and meet with  JBA in Tabarre. I categorically refused to
meet with Jean Bertrand Aristide in his home because I did not want to lose
my honor and my credibility as the  leader of the haitian private sector and
also because I knew ,since a long time, that JBA was a criminal, involved in
all kind of violations of human rights,violations of the Constitution,
repression ,killing of political opponents and drug trafficking .Since I was
very vocal against the Lavalas regime, I was threatened to death, accused of
being one of the organizer of a massacre that never existed and almost
arrested. In March 2000, I was forced, like my uncle,to leave Haiti in exile
. So much for the freedom of speech.

I just want to say that I am today a high profile opponent of Jean Bertrand
Aristide and of the Lavalas regime .  I have taken a lot of risks the last
few years by denouncing the Lavalas political violence, the Lavalas
corruption , the Lavalas drug trafficking , the Lavalas incompetence and the
Lavalas irresponsability , publicly in Haiti and abroad and consequently put
my life at risk.I left my house in five minutes .
I am not playing games, Mr.Chamberlain ! I am fighting for the truth to come
out someday and saved Haiti.
I have been threatened to death many times by the Lavalas thugs and put my
wife's life and my children's life at risk to fight for the rights of the
haitian business community and for our freedom . In few words, Mr.
Chamberlain , I have taken my responsabilities as the leader of the haitian
private sector, and today I am paying a price for telling the truth that
still too many people here in the United States do not want to
hear,especially the opportunistic Congressional Black Caucus and some
members of the past  administration. I do have a lot of information about
the Lavalas crimes , because I witnessed them while I was living in Haiti.If
there were more haitians and more foreigners involved in haitian politics
and who would have  the courage to take their responsabilities by telling
the truth about the real situation of Haiti , we will not have today a
country that is close to civil war.

Often on this list I have been vocal against Aristide and the crimes
committed under his Lavalas tyrannic and murderous rule. Below you will find
a list of persons assassinated by Lavalas henchmen.

I submit below to the attention of Corbetters a list of assassinated
haitians citizens to whom justice was denied, both to them and their
families, results of the demoniac behavior of Jean Bertrand Aristide:

-Mireille Durocher Bertin, attorney-at-law, killed by a police death squad
from the National Palace on March 28,1995.
Mrs. Bertin was pregnant and she was killed with 45 bullets because she knew
what kind of criminal Aristide was. She knew about the drugs Aristide was
taking and she was a member of the team that gathered all kind of
informations about the crimes of Aristide while he was in office between
february 1991 and september 1991, such as the  numerous and well documented
violations of the haitian Constitution . Mrs. Bertin asked the  parliament
to judge JBA for high treason in a letter dated  April 14th.1993.

-Eugene Baillargeau Junior, client of Mrs.Bertin and who was in her car and
was murdered too.

-Congressman Jean Hubert Feuille, killed by a police death squad from the
National Palace.That day Congressman Feuille was carrying a large amount of
money to be given to popular organizations in les Cayes.

-Pastor Antoine Leroy, political opponent.

-Jacques Florival, political opponent

-Me Michel Gonzales, neighbor of Aristide in Tabarre and who was killed by
Aristide' henchmen because he refused to sell his land to Aristide(At that
time,Aristide wanted to increase the size of his property).

-Policewoman Marie Christine Jeune,who refused to shake hands with a popular
organization leader in Cite Soleil, one of a Chimeres thug, responsible for
the death of many citizens and in front of Aristide while he was visiting
the place.

-Benson Joseph

-Edy Arbrouet,  responsible for the murder of a US citizen.

Aristide was in office ,General Mayard was also investigating numerous cases
of corruption during the Lavalas regime.He was also aware of the existence
of the drugs list. He was excecuted in broad daylight by a death squad from
the the National Palace on Delmas road on October 3rd,1995.

I could add to this list hundred of haitians that have been killed during
the last two years either by the Lavalas haitian police or by  Lavalas
"popular organizations" under the zero tolerance's policy ordered by
Aristide. Also , I could add the 26 journalists , two judges, the president
of the Provisary Electoral Council , numerous policemen and high ranking
police officers  and a former president of Haiti Chamber of Commerce and
many other haitians citizens that are living now in exile for asking the
Lavalas regime to stop the state sponsored terrorism , to stop the political
violence and the corruption and finally to take its responsability.

Now to go back on the source of this drug list, please note that those drugs
were found in a black bag in Jean Bertrand Aristide's office at the National
Palace by an army officer the day of the coup against Aristide on September
29,1991 and brought to the haitian army headquarters.Many of you on this
list, maybe, will not believe me and it is your right.I cannot force you to
believe me . But all the haitians that are really fighting for a new and
free Haiti know that I am right .
Anyway, I just wanted to share with you that the Catholic Hierarchy was
aware since a long time of Aristide's mental disorders.Monseigneur Wolf
Ligonde, archibishop of Port-au-Prince, knew about Aristide mental
illness.During the early eighties Aristide was incarcerated in Montreal 's
Hospital Sainte Anne de Beaupre for treatment . In  January 1991, while
making  a public speech, Monseigneur Ligonde said  to the haitian
people:"Don't be scare, don't be scare", few days later the Conference
Espicopale ,the residence of the Vatican ,Nonciature Apostolique, were set
on fire, the secretary of the Nuncio mutilated and transported to the
Dominican Republic .The archibishop Ligonde had to leave Haiti in exile.Many
bishops had to go hiding for a while.In 1990 , haitians elected a president
with terrible mental problems that is still today suffering from
schizophrenia, manic depression and paranoia. As I said before, you believe
in it or you don't. But for haitians that have lived under Aristide's terror
the last few years and that have been victims of his demoniac behavior,they
know what I am talking about. It is a reality that we have to face  every
day in our life with all the consequences for the future of Haiti.

You have to admit that Haiti is living today under a tyranny.This man , JBA,
is mentally insane.I never understood really the cynism of the Black Caucus
and the past democrat administration who spent 3 billion dollars in Haiti to
return to power a madman.Those same people who were defending the return of
Democracy in Haiti in 1994 are silent today in front of all the human rigths
violations ,the Lavalas crimes and political violence. They are on the mute
mode.They are hiding.

Mr. Chamberlain to conclude, I will just add that I have been fighting the
last 12 years for our freedom.I will not stop until some leaders in the US
and in Europe as well as some haitian leaders take their responsabilities
and tell  the truth about the real personality of Aristide.
You  also have to understand  that I will not have put my credibility and my
life at risk  and especially gone into exile if it was not a true story.
