He is no different from the rest of the opposition in that he sees no use in
working with the government of today, he can think of no way to cooperate and
help. He can only think of the one true Haitian solution....kill it and put
us in. Just because he couches his treasonous ideas in intellectual phrases
(cyclothemia??!!) doesn't mean they are true or meaningful except to reveal
the bias of the author. He reveals himself in the extreme way he describes
the shortcomings of the president and his party...it's a "nightmare of 2002"
"bad mutants" "personification of evil" And the way his memory seems to have
escaped him when comparing Lavalas with Duvalierism or other failed
governments. Lavalas has had dismal role models, including the intellectuals
who sit and talk......and talk........and talk, and have done NOTHING except
wax poetic on matters both pertinent and mundane. He had his chance and
failed......why? Because he wasn't wise enough? Or what? Sorry but reading
his very wordy "solution" makes me want to repeat, "The emperor's not wearing
any clothes!" Advocating the premature end of Aristide's term is treason.
This is a slippery slope for these opposition people and if the US sees that
there is no way they can win, they will dump these guys as they did FRAPH
leader Toto Constant. It would be better to work together, Haitians with
Haitians than to have foreign governments on your team. What kind of
patriots are you?
