 We are searching for a Haitian storyteller for a large county-wide Reading
Festival to be held in Fort Myers, Florida on Saturday March 8, 2003.  The
Lee County Reading Festival will be televised locally.  It is attended by
thousands of people annually. There is a Multicultural Tent where books will
be read and stories told in other languages besides English.  A few people
have volunteered to read children's fiction books in Haitian Creole, but we
are also searching to have the tent animated by the added attraction of a
more professional, traditional or experienced Haitian storyteller telling
stories in Creole.

If someone is willing to come but needs accommodations to stay overnight,
and meals, that will be provided, all except your transportation to Fort
Myers.
