14565: Allouard: Re: 14553: Ryan-Re:travel to Haiti? (fwd)

From: Philippe Allouard <allouard@libertysurf.fr>

    Dear Tim,

I don't know for travelling to Haiti, but as to live in Haiti, there is,
from my point of view, no special security problem in Haiti where I still
feel safer walking at night in La Saline than in many places in "my"
Marseilles or "my" Paris...

The main problem remains the holes in pavement or sidewalk that can be
deadly traps at night with "blakawout"...

You just have to listen to the radio and to teledyol to avoid one or
another place when protest goes on or burning tires block the traffic.

    Regards,

    Philippe
