I have a Haitian-born friend in NYC whose mother carries the surname of Moise and still lives in St. Louis du Nord in Haiti.  I have tried to research the name on AGH geneology site, but since I am no longer a member, I cannot access their detailed data base.  I realize that so many records were not kept or were destroyed during the Haitian Revolution ... but ... do you know of anyone today claiming ancestry to Touissaint's nephew, General Moise?

Tried researching on the internet, but could find nothing.  Many thanks for your help.
