Thanks, John, for adding some additional insight into "The Agronomist".  I
agree with you about the implications made in Demme's impressive film.  I
also agree that it is puzzling that Demme chose to omit any discussion of the
Dominique's final broadcast.  Still, I think it is very important to add that
after the movie Mme.Montas-Dominique carefully responded to audience
questions so as not to appear to lend credence to any single theory about her
husband's outrageous death.  Demme seemed reluctant to make any comments to
this effect either, obviously letting his film speak for itself.  What was
also interesting in the question and answer segment following the film's
Miami premiere were the heavy Haitian women on the balcony who applauded
approvingly and with great enthusiasm when Montas specifically stated that
there is no evidence at all that would place Aristide under suspicion.
Ya gotta love Miami, eh?
