i am intersted in learning the history of the naming of the international
airport in Port-au-Prince. it was once named for Papa Doc (when and by what
decree?), has long been known as Mais Gate (does that mean "rotten corn"? is
that the the name of the area in which it is found?), and now is officially
named for Guy Malary. was it named for Malary by Aristide? if so, by what
decree and when.
