Has anyone on the list read
The Savage Wars of Peace: Small Wars
and the Rise of American Power
by Max Boot, 2003 Basic Books Publisher

I read Chapter 7 - The Lords of Hispanola -
while browsing for J2EE books at Border's.

I thought it was another biased account of
the 1915 American occupation with the same
cast of characters: Smedley Butler, Hanneken,
Waller, Sudre Dartiguenave and Rosalvo Bobo.
