Twin sisters Roseline and Roselaine Bien-Aime, who earned scholarships to
study tourism at Miami-Dade College two years ago, are now the recipients of
a second round of awards enabling them to continue their education. Roseline
and Roselaine will have the cost of their full tuition, fees and books paid
for by the Visitor Industry Council when they transfer to Florida
International University this fall. Roseline graduated from MDC this past
spring while Roselaine is completing her final course this summer. Both
earned associate of arts degrees in hospitality administration and travel
and tourism management. The 20-year-old twin daughters, born in Miami to
Haitian parents, have been attending school while also working full time at
Loew's Hotel in Miami Beach. Currently, Roselaine coordinates the hotel's
kids camp program, while Roseline is a fitness attendant and aqua
instructor.
