16286: non-list member post: RE: Haitian Catholic church (fwd)
From: Mike Holley <mholley@fiacfla.org>
I'm looking for a way to contact the Marie Mediatrice Catholic church in La
Tortue, Haiti. Through a non-profit organization, I represent a client from
La Tortue in immigration proceedings. I need to obtain some corroborating
documentation from La Tortue. I understand that the Marie Mediatrice
Catholic church is supported by, or connected to, a church in Canada, and
that its priest is a Canadian named Antoine Riche. That's about all I know.
I would greatly appreciate any of the following information: (1) how to
contact the church in La Tortue; (2) what Canadian group or church does work
on La Tortue; or even (3) how to locate NGO's or other groups that do work
on La Tortue. Please e-mail any responses to Michael Holley at
mholley@fiacfla.org.
Thanks again--
Mike

Michael,
I'm sorry, I haven't any idea. However, I do run a daily mailing list
on Haiti which subscribes soem 1200 members, all quite knowledgeable about
Haiti.
Were you to send me a note to post on the list, someone might be able to
help you.
